Maya Jewell Zeller is the author of Rust Fish and Yesterday, the Bees. Her essays and poems appear widely. Recipient of a Promise Award from the Sustainable Arts Foundation as well as a residency in the H.J. Andrews Experimental Forest, Maya serves as Fiction Editor for Crab Creek Review, as Poetry Editor for Scablands Books, and as Assistant Professor for Central Washington University. She lives with her husband and two small children in the Inland Northwest.
