my irreducible enchantment with
you; these trials of the open palm
of a hand that stays open forever;
a longing from which it is
difficult to break away;
let’s hear from the melodic nugget
one more time; if i turn
to the fragment of a kiss;
manure of another color, Sibiu.
in concert with scissorlegs;
cover-ups walking backwards;
primacy of hearsay in high places;
a glimpse of Lear’s Fool; this
remorse that irrigates your ideal;
making do with illicit sublimity;
woman with sandals and backpack;
a drift inside a brown bird of childhood.
